I like the start everyone has made and I'm hoping I can add a bit of content to work toward bringing the wiki up to date.

I agree with the suggestions to change the name of the wiki to The Bobiverse, to match the URL.

I would also like to do something about the dropdowns under Wiki Content, and the Light Theme colors that make the title and main menus disappear into the background.

It seems like the theme and menus are only editable by an admin. I'm not sure who the admins are, but I'm considering asking for admin rights.

Thanks for the suggestion! That's what I did. About a month after posting this, I was granted admin rights. I added a lot of pages, and I had the name changed from "The We Are Legion (We Are Bob) Wiki." Now I'm just in standby mode if anyone needs anything from an admin. I'm starting to see some edits trickle in, and it's gratifying to know that people are consuming the content and participating as contributors.

Hello! About needing something from an admin, I have some things I'd like to bring up.

There are a couple Stub warnings on articles that look perfectly fine to me. Is there any way to remove those? They seem unnecessary and don't look good.
The "Recent Activity" category on the main site page doesn't display anything, and I'm not sure why or what exactly it's for. Can anything be done about that?
If you have some time, could you add a page for the Vulcan raptors? I have an image for them but there is no article to attach it to. I could make the article if need be, but it's not really my specialty.

Thank you for taking on this role, and I look forward to seeing the series and the site grow! If you have any feedback or suggestions for the types of edits/contributions you'd like to see (Edits I've already made? more quotes? less quotes? Images from outside the fandom?) let me know.

@JacobTheAxolotl, no need to apologize. I don't know where one would go to see the names of the admins of this wiki, so I'm not sure how people would figure out who has admin rights. That's why I posted here.

@SpaceSalvage I'm glad to help.

I'm not sure which pages have the Stub warnings you saw, but they can easily be deleted by any user by clicking Edit on the page, putting your cursor at the top of the content, and backspacing until the "stub template" gets deleted.
I've removed the "Latest Activity" section from the main page, since as you pointed out, it wasn't populating with anything. Instead, visitors to the wiki can use the Community dropdown at the top of this page and select Recently Changed Pages to see the latest edits.
I've created the Raptors page so that you can add the content to it that you were wanting to add. You can create your own pages, too -- just search for a page, and if there is no page with that name, you'll see a prompt at the top of the search results that says "Create the page XXX on this wiki". Before you create a page, please make sure that the page doesn't already exist, that the spelling is correct, and that it's a singular form (raptor, not raptors).

If you're looking for something to do and you have free time and a passion for the Bobiverse, you could go to the Minor Characters Page and start adding individual articles for any of the names on that page that you think deserve their own entry in the wiki.

Thank you for creating the Raptors page! That was a fun one once I finally got around to fleshing it out.

I have another question about the category pages: What is the distinction between the "Species" page and the "Lifeforms" page? Their descriptions are nearly identical, as well as the articles contained within them. Do we need both, or could we just have one for alien lifeforms and put Humans and Homo Sideria in the "Sentients" page?

Alternatively we could make one just for alien lifeforms, and have the "Species" one include Humans and Homo Sideria, though I don't know how useful that would be.

I would greatly appreciate your input on this.

Those categories were created by another user before me, and I just left them alone. I agree that the Species and Lifeforms categories are redundant, and that one should be eliminated. I don't think it matters which one. The Sentients category should stay separate, even though there will be lots of overlap (Taylor doesn't describe many non-sentient lifeforms).

Another alternative is to delete Species and then retitle Lifeforms as "Non-sentient Lifeforms". We would need to un-tag several pages that are currently in that category. Then there wouldn't be overlap between that category and the Sentients category.

I think that last option sounds like a great idea!

It would make it a bit easier to find whichever creature you're looking for, and the non-sentient lifeforms page could include articles covering plot relevant Earth life as well.

Done. I am not sure how to delete a category page, so I effectively hid the Species category page from view. I added a redirect, so if I wasn't successful in hiding it and someone does manage to find it, they will just be redirected to the Lifeforms category. I changed the way the site sees the Lifeforms page so that it says Non-Sentient Lifeforms, although I wasn't able to change the category name or URL. I also updated the main page of the wiki to remove the link to Species.

What do you think?
