Discovery[]
First explored by the replicant Major Ernesto Medeiros of the Brazilian Empire. Milo was the first Bob to arrive in the system.
Characteristics[]
The star is dimmer and less massive than Sol, and is classified as a G6 V star1.
System Bodies[]
There are two habitable planets: Takamagahara, towards the outside of the habitable zone, and Valhalla, towards the inside of the habitable zone. Valhalla has two moons, one of which - Asgard - can also sustain life, but with a thin atmosphere.
Events[]
We Are Legion (We Are Bob)[]
It is here that the First Battle of 82 Eridani takes place in April 2185, against Major Ernesto Medeiros.
In the Second Battle of 82 Eridani, the Bobs counterattack the Brazilian probes.
For We Are Many[]
The Japanese and Canadian enclaves colonize the system, arriving in colony ships piloted by Isaac, Jack, and Owen. The Japanese select Takamagahara as their colony, and they change its name from Jotunheim. The Canadians settle on Valhalla.
The system is again the site of conflict, in the Third Battle of 82 Eridani, when Medeiros destroys Mack’s vessel without warning.
All These Worlds[]
Once again, the Bobs face off against the Brazilian probes in the Fourth Battle of 82 Eridani. Several Bobs collaborate with the two colonies to protect the system's assets and the colonists.
