Will uses the term Bob Seeds to refer to the space stations he drops off at each system he passes on his expedition deep into the galaxy aboard the Nostromo.
Each Bob Seed contains a SCUT relay, an auto-factory, a HEAVEN vessel with a replicant matrix, and later on a pair of wormholes. It is run by an AMI whose directive is to explore and mine the system, preparing the way for possible future colonization.
