Gorilloids are one of the main predators of the Deltans. Strong and ape-like like a Terran gorilla, they are described as animalistic and brutal. They are omnivores that also eat some form of vine. As described by Bob, they are somewhat lazy when hunting the Deltans as they do not make a clean job of it. They modify their behavior through learning: for example, as Bob starts defending the Deltans with personnel busters, the gorilloids alter their hunting pattterns to avoid Deltan territory. The gorilloids were hunting the Deltans to extinction until they moved into Camelot, where the hipogriffs became the main predator.
