HEAVEN (an acronym for "Habitable Earths Abiogenic Vessel Exploration Network") was a lineage of spacecraft originally designed and built by FAITH as a part of 'Project HEAVEN'. Being the design of ship that Bob was originally installed in when he left Earth, the ship would soon serve as the basis for a whole series of iterative descendent designs, that became the standard issue for most newly created Bob Replicants, as well as a fleet of exploration ships later used by the Pav.
Heaven Vessel Design Iterations[]
Version-1 Heaven Vessel[]

One of the earliest known renders of the Heaven-1 vessel.
Originally planned as an initial run of eight probes; Project HEAVEN's budget cuts and redirected funding led to these plans being scaled back to four, then finally to only one probe, designated Heaven-1.
- Heaven-1: Powered by a ramscoop generator fed fusion reactor, and propelled by a reactionless SURGE drive, the original HEAVEN probe was equipped with a SUDDAR system capable of detecting dense objects within a light-hour radius, a fabricator consisting of an array of multiple monoatomic 3D printers, and a payload of nanites & ROAMers for resource extraction and construction; all controlled by the onboard Replicant matrix, with the assistance of a 'GUPPI' software interface.
The limited budget and rushed timeline for the project meant that the Heaven-1 was mostly assembled from existing off-the-shelf assets. The vessel was actually converted from an existing interplanetary freighter; it's now superfluous viewports covered with shielding, the original fusion drive was removed and replaced with extra cooling units for it's new oversized reactor. The hull was split halfway along its length accommodate the installation of a SURGE drive ring, which gave the craft a maximum acceleration of 2 g's. Along with the addition of other miscellaneous systems necessary for a Von Neumann probe, this ad-hoc design and hurried construction left no extra room for weapons systems. This was despite the inconvenient fact that the probes deployed by the various enemy nations the HEAVEN was likely to encounter, were themselves so armed. Replaced by the HEAVEN-1A
- Heaven-2A: Heaven-2A was a copy of the Heaven-1, constructed at Epsilon Eridani at the request of Riker. It was fitted with extra reactor shielding and controlled by an AMI. It travelled back to Sol alongside Riker and Homer to serve as a decoy, and as planned; was destroyed by enemy missiles while gathering intel.
Version-2 Heaven Vessel[]
Version-2 was an upgraded design based on the original Heaven-1, developed by Bob to both overcome the inherent shortcomings of the craft, and to make sure he was free of any further trojans, hidden failsafes, or control systems installed by FAITH.
The version-2 was physically larger overall; featuring a more substantial SURGE drive along with a suitably more powerful reactor, fitted with improved shielding. Aside from a greatly expanded core and memory capacity; accommodations were also made for double the space for replicant and interface systems of the version 1, more physical storage space for ROAMers, mining drones, and more cargo capacity in general. In addition to buster launch facilities; the most significant addition was an integrated railgun weapon system in the form of a launch tube running along the ship’s axis that fired SURGE accelerated projectiles at several hundred g's, and was capable of firing either fore or aft as needed. This fixed railgun design meant that the ship needed to rotate on its centre of mass in order to aim, and would need to momentarily cut off the main drive when firing.
The first run of five Version-2's were built by Bob in 2145 at Epsilon Eridani, for himself and his first batch of cohorts.
- Heaven-1A: The first of the upgraded line of vessels, build specifically for Bob to replace the obsolete HEAVEN-1. To commemorate his first battle, Bob further customised his vessel by marking the nose of it's composite carbon-lattice shell with a picture of a Brazilian probe struck through with a big red X. Departed for Delta Eridani soon after.
- Heaven-2: The second of the line was built for Bob's first Replicant "Bob-2" (who would choose the name Riker), at Epsilon Eridani, July 2145. Later modified with extra reactor shielding before departing for Sol in September of tat year, alongside HEAVEN-6 and a decoy copy of HEAVEN-1.
- Heaven-3: Built for Bill at Epsilon Eridani, July 2145. It's initial shake-down cruise revealed that it had a defective SUDDAR emitter which had to be replaced, but also inspired Bill to remain in Epsilon Eridani to investigate developing SUDDAR technology further.
- Heaven-4: Built for Milo at Epsilon Eridani, July 2145. Set out for Omicron Eridani soon after. Destroyed by a Medeiros replicant in 82 Eridani, April 2185.
- Heaven-5: Built for Mario at Epsilon Eridani, July 2145. Set out for Beta Hydri soon after.
- Heaven-6: Built for Homer, at Epsilon Eridani, September 2145, and modified with extra reactor shielding. Departed for Sol soon after alongside Heaven-6 and a decoy copy of Heaven-1. Took severe damage from a missile launched from a Brazilian Empire vessel controlled by a replicant of Captain Matias Araujo.
- Heaven-7: Built for Garfield, at Epsilon Eridani, September 2145.
Version-3 Heaven Vessel[]
The Version-3 was designed to be a combat class battleship. It was equipped with massively oversized SURGE drives and reactors, giving them an unprecedented maximum acceleration of 10 g's, as well as a smaller, very well shielded secondary reactor. The latter gave the design the ability to coast through a system with the main reactor offline, making it undetectable at all but very close range.
Weapons were also significantly improved over the Version-2; with twice the number of busters, several scout drones, as well as multiple railguns firing steel-jacketed lead cannonballs via oversized SURGE drives.
A new addition was the innovation of SUDDAR jamming; utilising twin emitters, powered by oversized reactors that would flood any SUDDAR detectors in range with white noise.
- Heaven-8: Built for Linus at Epsilon Eridani, 2150. Departed soon after for Epsilon Indi; arrived April 2165.
- Heaven-9: Built for Calvin at Epsilon Eridani, 2150. Departed along with Goku soon after for Alpha Centauri; arrived April 2165.
- Heaven-10: Built for Goku at Epsilon Eridani, 2150. Departed along with Calvin soon after for Alpha Centauri; arrived April 2165.
Version-4 Heaven Vessel[]
The Version-4 design continued the trend of expanded capacity and emphasis on stealth & combat capabilities. It featured even more heavily shielded reactors than the Version-3's, and an ultra-low intensity SUDDAR array was all but undetectable to the standard SUDDAR receivers of the time. The ship's systems were specifically rigged for total radio silence, and hardened against EMP. the outer hull was coated with a special carbon-black shell to ensure an almost-zero albedo, and shaped with profiles designed to be virtually invisible to radar.
On the offensive side; the Version-4's payload included observation drones, decoy drones, ship-busters, all equipped with SCUT for zero light-lag and instantaneous communication. A new addition was the inclusion of new Plasma Spikes.
- Loki led a fleet of twelve Version-4's to the 82 Eridani system, arriving in 2185.
Version-5 Heaven Vessel[]
Designed as a dreadnought class, the Version-5 was made specifically to combat the threat of The Others.
Version-6 Heaven Vessel[]
Designated "Titan class".
