Minister Cranston is the representative to the New United Nations from the FAITH enclave in San Diego.
Cranston's first name is never mentioned, nor do we know much personal information about him.
For We Are Many[]
Cranston is one of the leaders of the postwar FAITH enclave. Riker meets him at the first meeting of the New U.N. in 2158. Cranston considers Riker to be FAITH property, and he is resentful that Riker doesn't behave as such. He initially addresses Riker as "Replicant" rather than by his chosen name.
Cranston's first attempt to control Riker is the use of a verbal override code, which Bob 2.0 had previously removed from his programming before creating any clones. Later, Cranston attempts to manipulate Riker by introducing him to Julia Hendricks, a descendant of original Bob's sister Andrea.
