I started listening to the Bobiverse books again after starting the process of listening through book 5.
Particularly I've been hoping to get a detailed list of the Bobs' Lineage, as having tens of thousands of Bobs in the later books is starting to confuse me. Well.. the plot definitely sticks to 5 or less, but sometimes a Bob gets mentioned offhandedly that hasn't been mentioned since like 2 books ago, and I just feel lost.
This fandom is probably the only decent resource for a good list, but it's at least 2 books out of date in a lot of areas. (and I should mention, please use an adblocker on fandom, it is a cesspool of a site without one)
Today I listened to the first 3 or so hours of book 1.
Funny thing: when Riker's serial number is mentioned, it is listed as HIC 16537-1.
Where the Hipparcos catalogue, the place the 16537 designation originates, uses HIP 16537 to refer to the star. (as is the case for all other stars in that catalogue)
I'm not sure if the HIP/HIC name is a mixup or if this universe just has a different acronym??
I don't have the print version of any of the books, or I would check.
Keeping an ear out for another Hipparcos catalogue mention to see if it changes.
