Below are many of the weapons used in the Bobiverse.
Buster[]
Main article: Busters
A ship buster is a non-explosive weapon weighing about 500kg. It uses its own kinetic energy to damage a target in space by ramming it at high speed.
EMP[]
An electromagnetic pulse, or EMP, is a brief but strong surge of electromagnetic energy. EMPs can be generated naturally, by solar activity or lightning strikes. They can also be generated artificially and used as a weapon, for example, a plasma spike. An EMP will overload computer circuits, and can cause physical damage to the circuitry.
Fission bombs[]
An atomic bomb that creates a nuclear explosion by splitting atoms of a heavy element such as plutonium. They are also known as A-bombs or nukes. The Bobs learn how to make fission bombs from the missiles used against them by Medeiros.
Fusion bombs[]
An atomic bomb that creates a nuclear explosion by fusing atoms of a light element such as hydrogen. They are also known as H-bombs or nukes. The Bobs receive plans for making fusion bombs from Col. Butterworth and the USE.
Laser[]
A laser generates coherent light that is focused enough to burn. The Bobs use lasers in the Battle of Terra, as they defend Earth from The Others in All These Worlds. They are not widely used in the Bobiverse due to their ineffectiveness against targets traveling close to light speed.
Missile[]
A missile is a conventional weapon that uses a rocket to propel a warhead. They are the preferred weapon of the Brazilian probes, Medeiros and Araujo. The Bobs do not initially use missiles because the manufacture of explosives such as C-4 or Semtex often results in the destruction of the autofactory during the manufacturing process. As the Bobs begin to face the menace of The Others in For We Are Many and All These Worlds, they create missiles tipped with both fission and fusion warheads and powered by SURGE drives.
Personnel Buster[]

A personnel buster is a scaled-down version of a ship buster. It weighs about 20kg. It is used on the surface of a planet, to take out threats such as native predators such as the Gorilloids.
Plasma Spike[]

A plasma spike is an energy weapon that uses plasma enveloped in an electromagnetic field. It is essentially a lightning torpedo.
Railgun[]

A rail gun uses electromagnetic energy to accelerate a projectile, often a steel ball.
